What changes has Honda made to the 2026 HR-V compared to the 2025?
The 2026 HR-V is a content update within the continuing third generation launched in 2023. Honda adds blind-spot monitoring as standard on the entry-level LX trim, previously reserved for EX and EX-L. A new two-tone seat upholstery option is offered on the EX-L. The 158-hp 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and CVT transmission remain unchanged — mechanical stability is a strength for long-term reliability-focused buyers. Cargo space of 868 litres with seats folded remains best-in-class among subcompact SUVs, still beating the Nissan Qashqai and Mazda CX-30.
