Does the third-generation Countryman (launched in 2024) bring notable improvements on the 2026 model year?
The 2026 Countryman is the third production year on the FAAR2 platform co-developed with BMW Group and produced in Leipzig. Compared to early 2024 units, the 2026 Countryman benefits from OTA software corrections for the MINI Operating System 9 infotainment — most notably improved Bluetooth connection stability and navigation menu responsiveness. Externally, MINI Canada adds new bicolour roof options for 2026 including the Rooftop Edition in Jungle Green Matte, and John Cooper Works Trim exterior variations are extended to additional paint combinations. The all-electric Countryman E (313 km certified range) and the Countryman SE ALL4 (204 hp, AWD electric) have been available in Canada since the generation launch and carry over mechanically unchanged for 2026.
