Rivian significantly updated the R1T for 2024 — new exterior styling, a revised interior with an improved 15.6-inch infotainment system on an updated software platform, and a Gen 2 dual-motor architecture producing 665 horsepower in standard and 850 horsepower in performance configuration. The Large battery pack expands to 149 kWh on the Dual-Motor Standard+ trim, targeting over 560 km of range. The interior redesign simplifies the dashboard layout with improved physical controls for frequently used functions — a response to Canadian owner feedback that touchscreen-only control required attention diversion in off-road situations. The R1T's torque-vectoring quad-motor configuration remains available on the Performance variant. The 2024 Rivian Adventure Network in Canada is expanding — confirm charging station availability on planned routes, particularly in Northern Ontario and the Prairies.
