Is the BMW i4 reliable for everyday use in a cold Canadian climate?
The i4 is built on the CLAR platform shared with the 4 Series, with a well-developed 400V electrical architecture. The 83.9 kWh battery uses active liquid thermal management to protect cells in extreme cold. Canadian owner data shows few major warranty failures — primarily over-the-air software updates and minor onboard charger corrections.
