Jeep Compass 2025
The 2025 Jeep Compass arrives as a thoroughly redesigned compact SUV on Stellantis's STLA Small platform, bringing a more contemporary silhouette, a significantly upgraded interior, and a vertical 10.25-inch touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard. The primary powertrain pairs a 1.3L turbocharged four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 4xe plug-in hybrid variant adds all-electric capability of approximately 48 km of range — enough to cover most daily Canadian commutes without burning fuel. A standard active safety suite includes autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist across all Canadian trims. The Trailhawk grade adds terrain-specific drive modes and higher ground clearance for light off-road use. Interior quality takes a noticeable step forward over the outgoing model, with improved soft-touch surfaces and cleaner switchgear layout. The 2025 Compass competes more directly with the Mazda CX-5 and Subaru Forester on fit and finish grounds. A substantive redesign that addresses the previous generation's main weaknesses.
