The 2026 IS continues with three engine options in Canada: the IS 300 AWD with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder at 241 horsepower, the IS 350 with a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 at 311 horsepower, and the IS 500 F Sport Performance with a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 at 472 horsepower. The IS 500 remains the last naturally aspirated V8 compact sport sedan offered in Canada at its displacement — a technical distinction with no direct equivalent from German or Japanese competitors. The F Sport adaptive variable suspension widens its spread between Comfort and Sport+ calibrations to a degree that makes the car functionally different in each mode.
