The Ascent 2023 consolidates the 2022 refresh and delivers targeted content adjustments across trim levels. The turbocharged 2.4-litre FA24F producing 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque remains the sole powertrain, paired with symmetrical all-wheel drive and the Lineartronic CVT. The Premium trim gains improved seating material and multi-device Bluetooth pairing for 2023. A higher-resolution rearview camera and parking sensors become standard on a broader set of trims. EyeSight 4.0 with turn-signal-linked lane change assist and blind-spot monitoring is now included on Touring and Limited. Towing capacity remains at 5,000 lb. The StarLink Safety & Security+ subscription service is available on all 2023 Canadian models. Check CVT behaviour under maximum load and inspect the halfshaft boots on any Ascent 2023 used for regular towing duty.
