The 2026 RAV4 represents a substantial mid-cycle update of the fifth generation (2019–present) rather than a full redesign. Exterior changes include a new more defined front grille and redesigned rear lights with a new LED light signature. Inside, Toyota introduces a new dashboard with a 10.5-inch touchscreen standard from the LE trim, replacing the previous 8-inch screen. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 becomes standard on all trims, adding intersection detection and lateral obstacle avoidance that were missing on previous entry-level versions.
