The 2026 BMW X1 (U11) solidifies its Canadian lineup with the arrival of the iX1 xDrive30 fully electric variant as a standard offering — a first for this model in Canada. The thermally powered X1 sDrive28i receives the updated B48 engine producing 241 hp. The iDrive 9 system with a 10.7-inch curved screen (combining instrument cluster and navigation) becomes standard on all trims. BMW Canada standardises Active Guard — autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection — on all trims starting with the entry-level Xline. Cargo space grows to 540 litres thanks to a new sliding second-row seat configuration.
