What new features does Ram bring to the 1500 2026 for the Canadian market?
The 2026 Ram 1500 integrates the new 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo inline-six as the base engine on crew cab configurations — progressively replacing the 5.7L Hemi V8 on entry-level builds. This engine produces 420 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque, surpassing the Hemi in peak output while delivering 11.4 L/100 km combined AWD versus 13.8 L/100 km for the V8. The interior receives a refreshed Uconnect interface with a recalibrated 12-inch screen for reduced input latency. The REL (Ram Efficient Light) 48V mild hybrid is extended to SLT trims. The 5.7L Hemi V8 remains available on Limited and TRX variants.
