What is new on the 2026 Acura MDX for Canadian buyers?
The 2026 MDX introduces an A-Spec SH-AWD variant with a fixed panoramic glass roof — a first for the current generation. Google Built-In (Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Play) replaces the previous AcuraLink interface on Elite and Advance trims, providing real-time map updates without an additional subscription. The third row gains one centimetre of additional knee clearance through a revised seat-rail design. The powertrain — 3.5L V6 producing 290 hp or the Type S hybrid making 355 hp — remains unchanged. The 2026 MDX is also the first of this generation to offer a 15W wireless charger as standard equipment starting with the base trim.
