What new driver assistance technologies does the 2025 Expedition introduce?
Ford upgraded the Co-Pilot360 suite on the 2025 Expedition with improved pedestrian and cyclist detection, more precise active lane-centring, and an adaptive cruise control that maintains more natural following gaps in stop-and-go traffic on congested Canadian urban corridors. Pre-Collision Assist gains intersection detection for the first time on the Expedition — warning of cross-traffic approaching at reduced-visibility intersections during turns. BlueCruise receives a map update that extends hands-free coverage on Quebec's Autoroute 40 through to Quebec City and on the Trans-Canada through Saskatchewan, meaningfully expanding usable hands-free range for Canadian long-haul drivers. These updates make the 2025 Expedition one of the most comprehensively safety-equipped large SUVs in the Canadian market.
