BMW launched the fourth-generation X3 for 2026, representing the most comprehensive overhaul in the model's history. The xDrive30i uses a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 hp; the M50i pairs a 3.0L mild-hybrid inline-six with 382 hp. Both configurations use xDrive AWD and an eight-speed automatic. The new platform brings a panoramic curved display spanning 12.3 and 14.9 inches, replacing the separate screens of the outgoing model. iX3 full-electric buyers get approximately 530 km of range from the 80.7-kWh battery and up to 195 kW DC fast charging. The interior is a genuine step forward in premium feel, with optional Merino leather and ambient lighting that rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Rear cargo capacity grew by 45 litres over the outgoing model to 570 litres. Canadian buyers should confirm whether Level 2 or Highway Assistant driver-assistance packages are included, as these were option-box items at launch. The X3 M Competition returns with 543 hp.
