Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2025
The 2025 Outlander PHEV receives Mitsubishi's latest safety suite — including proactive safety algorithms that detect driver fatigue patterns through steering input analysis — and updated standard equipment that brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the SE trim, previously requiring a USB connection. The 2.4L PHEV system producing 248 hp combined and the 20 kWh battery are unchanged. EV range remains approximately 61 km in optimal conditions. CHAdeMO is retained; Canadian buyers planning regular long-distance trips using public DC fast charging should map CHAdeMO station density along their most common routes, as the CCS standard dominates newer installations. The three-row configuration on GT and top trims continues to provide the Outlander PHEV with a unique positioning in a segment where most PHEV crossovers seat five. Federal iZEV eligibility applies at lower trim levels where MSRPs remain below the program ceiling.
