Honda upgraded the 2024 Passport's Honda Sensing suite with Highway Driving Assist, which keeps the vehicle centred in its lane in a semi-autonomous mode on controlled-access Canadian highways. The blind-spot monitoring system was also revised to better detect fast-approaching vehicles during lane changes, a meaningful improvement on high-traffic highways like Highway 401 or Autoroute 40.
The 2024 TrailSport includes standard Continental CrossContact ATR 265/60R18 tires, integrated side steps, reinforced skid plate protection and trail-tuned dampers that set it apart from the EX-L. If your use regularly involves gravel roads, cottage access tracks or light mud, the roughly $3,500 to $4,500 TrailSport premium is well justified. For strictly urban and highway use, the EX-L offers proportionally better resale value.
The official rating for the 2024 Passport AWD is 13.2 L/100 km city and 9.8 L/100 km highway.
