The 2024 Integra adds the Type S variant — a substantial performance step up from the base model. The Type S uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing 320 horsepower, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual with a limited-slip front differential. This powertrain combination puts the Type S in direct competition with the Golf R and Civic Type R in terms of output, though the Integra's character is more grand-touring than track-focused. The base Integra continues with the 200-horsepower 1.5T and the manual or CVT choice. Adaptive dampers on the Type S allow genuine suspension tuning across Comfort, Normal, and Sport+ modes without the harshness that afflicts some high-output front-wheel-drive platforms. Acura Canada's EV DC fast-charging network is not relevant here — the Integra is a conventionally powered machine.
