The Forte GT uses the 1.6T GDI producing 201 hp with a seven-speed DCT — one of the strongest performance-per-dollar offerings in the Canadian compact segment. DCT behaviour at low speed requires evaluation if driving is predominantly urban; some owners find the engagement in parking lots less smooth than a torque-converter automatic.
