The 2026 NX continues the second-generation platform introduced in 2022 with four powertrain options for Canada: the NX 250 with a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder at 203 horsepower; the NX 350 with a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder at 275 horsepower; the NX 350h hybrid combining a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder with an electric motor for 239 horsepower; and the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid at 302 combined horsepower with approximately 58 km of electric range under WLTP. All-wheel drive is standard on NX 350, NX 350h, and NX 450h+. The 14-inch touchscreen Lexus Interface multimedia system is standard across the NX lineup and has received multiple OTA improvements since 2022 launch. The plug-in hybrid's winter electric range in Ontario January conditions is approximately 38–42 km. Confirm the battery conditioning pre-heat function operates correctly on used NX 450h+ examples before a winter purchase.
