Does the 2026 Lexus NX bring substantial changes over the generation launched in 2022?
The 2026 NX enters its fifth year on the TNGA-K platform and receives a notable mid-cycle update for this model year. Lexus adds a new 14-inch screen replacing the 9.8-inch unit on the 350h F Sport and upper trims — a direct response to ongoing criticism over screen size since 2022. The climate control system receives an improved remote pre-heating function integrated into the Lexus App, with a scheduling window extended to 90 minutes before departure (versus 30 minutes on 2024–2025 versions). The colour palette gains the Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 shade exclusive to the NX 350h. Mechanically, the NX 350h AWD (245 hp, 6.0 L/100 km combined) and the NX 450h+ PHEV (302 hp, 91 km rated electric range) remain the flagship powertrains for Canada.
